Shauna Coyne executes New York–Presbyterian’s vision for using digital health solutions to improve the patient journey. Relying on her expertise, New York–Presbyterian has embraced virtual care services to boost patient access to high-quality, convenient care, investing tens of millions of dollars in more than 60 telehealth programs in nearly every specialty. Coyne was instrumental in guiding the development, testing and rollout of New York– Presbyterian’s OnDemand mobile app, the “virtual front door” for patients to access urgent-care services and virtual visits. Results-oriented, she met the ambitious goal of 100,000 New York– Presbyterian telehealth visits last year and is on track for half a million this year.
