Sarah is the Chair in the Strategy Department leading Strategy development through execution. Her team develops the corporate strategy and priorities to advance the institutional plan. She works with senior level leadership to define strategy, align with operational plans through the realization of broad strategies across multidisciplinary teams. She is the executive lead for automation, applying simplified processes and technology to achieve positive outcomes with reduced human input, at Mayo Clinic.
She was recently the Chair over the Enterprise Project Management Office and Strategy Execution. Her team focused on portfolio management, process engineering, systems design, business unit strategy development and operational planning. Sarah was also the Executive Director of Strategy Development at Mayo Clinic.
Sarah has worked across various departments at Mayo Clinic since she joined in 2007. She led product development and commercialization to diversify revenue streams across International, Quality, and Employer Services. She held progressive roles within Corporate Strategy and was previously the Director of Business Strategy and Planning.
She has experience in patient access management and analytics for Rochester Department of Medicine, Employee Community Health, and Mayo Clinic Health System. She worked in analytics and implementation for Marketing and Advertising within Marketing and Public Affairs, supporting Google AdWords analytics, market share and referring physicians as well as patient satisfaction.
Prior to Mayo Clinic, Sarah was a Financial Analyst for International Business Machines (IBM) in Rochester, MN. Sarah holds a M.B.A. from Augsburg College and a Bachelor of Science in Business, emphasis in Marketing from St. Cloud State University.
