Liz Popwell, MPA, FACHE, PMP is the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer for Stony Brook Medicine. Stony Brook Medicine integrates all of Stony Brook University’s health-related initiatives: education, research and patient care. It includes five Health Sciences schools as well as four hospitals and more than 200 community-based healthcare settings. 

Liz is a nationally recognized thought leader and healthcare executive with more than 29 years of experience in the field, and is responsible for driving all aspects of strategy for Stony Brook Medicine. Her key responsibilities include strategic planning and implementation, transformation and business development.
